Background:

Moraa Educational Complex began its activity in 1394 solar year in Kabul, and acts as the most prestigious and reputed educational and academic complex in the era, and delivers services in different academic, educational and medical sections, which is founded by women, for women. This Complex by having standardized facilities renders different professional services in Kindergarten, High School, Institute of Health Science, Institute of Higher Education and Dormitory. Moraa uses international methods and curriculum that is taught by national and international qualified pioneers. It is noteworthy that Moraa is the only educational and academic complex which is created and taught by women, for women.

Moraa Educational Complex offers practical and secure environment in which girls and young women can be educated according to Islamic and Afghan values, to a high educational standards based on modern teaching methods. The programs offered by Moraa University are well planned and designed based on deep analysis and research with emphasis on knowledge assimilation, practical & global applications and industrial consequences.

Overall Purposes:

The incumbent is required to deliver English language lectures to Moraa University students according to the course policy and medical faculty curriculum developed by the faculty council committee. Meanwhile, she is responsible to develop lesson plans based on curriculum and prepare teaching materials and course policy for the training and academic development of Moraa University students.

Principle Activities:

  1.  Teaching English to the Faculty students.
  2.  Assessing each student’s ability and then develops and executes lesson plans, as appropriate, to build and increase the students’ knowledge and language capability.
  3. Giving midterm and final exam as well unit quizzes.
  4. Designing and producing teaching materials.
  5. Providing mainstream language support.
  6. Preparing information for inspection visits and other quality assurance exercises.
  7. Organizing and delivering classroom lectures to students.
  8. Evaluating a students’ class work and assignments.
  9. Preparing classroom and coursework materials, homework assignments, and handouts.
  10. Recording and maintain accurate student attendance records and grades.
  11. Classroom management.
  12. Developing English lesson plans in line with the objectives of the program.
  13. Maintaining discipline in the classroom.
  14. Creating a vibrant teaching atmosphere.

Reporting obligations:

The English lecturer shall directly report to the Voice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.

Qualification and Experience Required: 

   Minimum Requirement:

Bachelor degree in English literature and certificated of English language.

   Experience:

At least 3 years of experience of teaching English language in a well-known institute or any other organization.
